Whenever there's a call for papers, all of us get an email on the listserv. Today there was one for Bryn Mawr's Graduate Symposium on the subject of "Thievery: The Anxiety of Influence and Appropriation," and my modern art professor emailed me to suggest that I submit an abstract for my Playboy paper. Which is AWESOME, even though I highly, highly doubt they will select it, that he thought it was good enough. Cheshire cat grin: check.
