Two article titles I found in JSTOR by accident while looking for an author named James Harper: "The Tardy Domestication of the Duck" and "Another Simple Proof of $1 + \frac{1}{2^{2}} + \frac{1}{3^{2}} + \cdot \cdot \cdot = \frac{\pi^{2}}{6}..." And I thought proofs in geometry were bad--at least those had practical applications (sort of). Anyway, to hell with this theoretical crap. Vertical angles equal, dammit! That was always the easiest to remember and thus, my favorite.
