Ah, Blue

This is probably a tie with yesterday's picture for "favorite blue sky." I took it on top of the Palatine hill, at the beginning of what turned out to be something like a five hour exploration of the ruins there and in the Forum below.


I have an excessive fondness for that kind of tree. This specimen, in particular, just seems so hearty and determined, all alone amid those ruins. I bet if that tree had to write a paper on Kant, it wouldn't procrastinate and write blog entries and read Dlisted. You're a better man (woman?) than I, tree.
