So my valentine's day plans have been finalized, thanks to my timely intervention lol! instead of the traditional dinner date, charles and i are doing something that's (in my opinion) much more fun. we're getting a hotel suite!!! heeheee!
before anyone starts hyperventilating and getting the wrong idea, there's not going to be wild monkey sex going on as per mutual agreement (though wendy has been admonishing me to 'not waste the opportunity'). however, he IS going to be cooking me dinner (it comes with a kitchen like the new year's one!). it has a vcr so we can watch movies, and we're going to have a scrabble rematch since he beat all of us when he visited last time, and then we're going to, well have some good times. muahaha. oh and he's bringing champagne, so i shall at last know what it's like!
honestly i felt so "adult" somehow when i was making the reservations last night. turns out my check card can be used like a credit card to reserve hotel rooms, and orbitz.com is just awesome, i must say. anyway we're splitting the cost down the middle, and it's more expensive than the plain old hotel room i originally suggested but it's going to be so much cooler. just the thought of having absolutely no one around, being able to do whatever we want as loud as we want, is fucking awesome. the only downside is checkout being noon, so no sleeping in, but oh well, i can deal, right?

when i woke up this morning and remembered that the night before i had booked a suite for frickin' valentine's day, you know what i did? i burst out laughing, that sort of giddy excited laughter that is quite a lot of fun and really gets you going in the morning! i got screwed out of valentine's day last year but this year IT IS GOING TO FUCKING ROCK!!

oh yes, and debate tomorrow, and seeing my girl flanny! SWEET!
