here i am at sara's, discussing sex, various forms of shaving (yes this refers to you, digiov), the wonders of hydrocortisone cream, school, and plans for spring break (cape cod AND wellesley with the drunken harvard boys! whooot!) i love these girls. they comprise one of the few tendrils tying me to this place, albeit a firm one. sara willl be gone tomorrow, after we drop her off, and heather will leave friday. i won't see rae again, probably, since i'm leaving sunday. being with them tonight gives me a brief pang that we have to be separated, yet again, and that never again will our happiness be complete just with each other. we have other friends, other lives, other committments. our world is no longer this small. so many times i've given thanks for having moved on and found the wide wonderful world of college, but this is one of those nights when i'm prone to remembering the sweetness of just being a high school kid, surrounded by friends with whom one can discuss absolutely anything, even the choice of shaving/waxing/tweezing various bodily parts. yeah!
