ONE WEEK TILL I GO HOME!!! and by home i mean home to campion 425 and the smiling face of my wonderful roommate, to our twinkling ceiling, to our comfortable beds and all the stuffed animals that never stay put, to having friends in the same hallway, to having full meals whenever i want them, to learning and books and edumacation!! hooray!

tonight i worked with a fifteen year old girl from albania, susanna. she was very friendly, and i honestly put her age at eighteen or so, but she said that was a common assumption, since she grew up pretty fast. she gives all the money she makes to her parents. i've never met another girl her age who would do such a thing and not think twice about it. and so pretty, too--i would have killed to be like her as a freshman in high school. she had no idea that college was not like high school, with no classes a lot of the time. somehow i found that really strange, but i can't remmeber if i understood college when i was a freshman, either.
