Lauren admonished me once again to update my site, so here goes. My birthday was utterly awesome. probably the best one i've had. i haven't even gotten all my gifts yet lol! The food has now mostly been eaten, the cookies and box o'chocolates and the big cake that was waiting for me when i woke up, courtesy of my darling wendy (later this same darling saw fit to mash cake in my hair. i retaliated with cake on her shirt. mmm. frosting.) the flowers andrew wanted for me came from canada yesterday. they're beautiful, but sadly they're already dying. lauren and andrew both gave me stuffed animals--andrew's is a black cat with orange devil eyes. i kid you not. when i unwrapped it i screamed and tossed it up in the air. wendy gave me, amongst other things, a new rainbrow brite tshirt!! i was so happy! sara's present came today. i put the lobster soaps on display in my room, and i'm wearing the little bow tie necklace and the champagne-flavored lip gloss...which doesnt taste like champagne, not that i really know what that is anyway. still good. plus i got cards from a bunch of people, and rae left a singing message on my machine. it was good times. and no i didn't do anything wild and crazy beyond buy some losing lottery tickets when we went out to dinner. oh well.

i got an A+ on phillip's first quiz, so he says his objective now is to convince me to change my major to art history. heehee. and i took my first spanish test this afternoon, i think it went well. today is "new england day", so we're having some kind of carnival. i plan to get my fortune told :-)
